Datsun 280Z, 1977, 5-Speed Manual Transmission. I have owned the car for 5 years and am selling it because I have one too many classic cars to fit in my garage. I have put less than 1,000 miles on it since purchased in 2015. Engine pulls strong, transmission shifts smoothly, and the after-market exhaust has a nice sound. As can be seen from the pictures, a lot of restorative work has been done in the engine compartment. Radiator has been reconditioned and water pump and thermostat replaced, plugs and fuel filter replaced, new coil, new distributor cap and rotor, replaced ignition switch, replaced oil & filter in June 2020, new tires and alignment in July 2020, new battery in August 2018, MT-90 in the transmission, mustache bar bushings replaced, seat covers and seat foam inserts replaced in 2016, valve cover was powder-coated in 2020. The car has an after-market dash cap installed. Previous owner furnished me a replacement dash when I bought the car, but it was never installed, and can be provided uninstalled to the new owner, if wanted. I'm sure I have left out some stuff, but those are the major things. The radio is a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/USB unit, and works great, however, the electric antenna does not current work (and I have not tried to sort that out). The gas gage, the clock, and the engine inspection light do not work. I purchased a LOT of miscellaneous urethane bushings, trim pieces and other assorted items from Black Dragon Automotive before they went out of business, and they will be provided with the car, along with some spare cans of R12 that I will no longer need. The Factory Service Manual on CD will also be provided. Car includes the owners manual. The car does have the OEM tire jack and wrench, wheel chocks and the compressed air bottle for flat tires. You will not be disappointed. |
