CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |
---|---|
1948 Plymouth P-15 Deluxe Business Coupe. This car seems pretty solid and would be a great project that is ready to enjoy from day one. It has a 218CI Flathead 6, 3 speed manual on the column. It's not a race car by any means but can cruise at 55MPH all day. The Good- Good/Clear PA title, The motor was rebuilt at some point with the cylinders bored .040 over and the head has been shaved .020. It runs and drives well. It has a Rusty Hope front disc brake conversion kit, a new water pump, new gas tank, new motor mounts, new wiring, a vega steering box, new headliner and many other new and customized parts. The front and rear bumpers were removed with a rigid tube structure behind custom made valances. The Bad- There is a small amount of body damage as can be seen in the last 3 pictures, the driver side rear fender found the highway bars on my bike while backing into a dark garage. And while transporting it home the transporter used a metal chain that chipped the front valance. There is also a baseball sized burn mark in the middle of the carpet, under the center console where I assume someone had ran it with the transmission mounted E-Brake engaged. This sale is as is, I will facilitate local pick up or can cooperate with a transportation company as long as you (the buyer) make the arrangements. This car will not move until all funds are transferred and cleared. |
