CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Alfa Romeo Spider mountain performance modified. For sale as parts or repair. Ran when parked. I am selling this car for the estate of a friend of mine who no longer can drive it. I offered to move the car to my front yard for his family so they can close on the estate in October. My friend bought the car in 1997 and drove it for 30,000mi., during that time he modified the engine with carburetors/manifold and performance headers replaced the crank shaft, pistons, oil pump, lower/upper timing chains/gears, valve cover. He drove it during Summer and covered or garaged it for the rest of the year. He parked it to replace the brake master/reservoir and replace a bolt for the rear muffler hanger. The car was turned over but not started a few weeks ago and no issues, that's what I was told by his brother. To start this car it is suggested to service the brake issue, prime the cylinders, drain and replace the radiator fluid, flush the gas tank with some fresh gas, attach a battery( I have a small one that might work), turn over the engine without spark plugs---then attempt a full start. The top needs a rear plastic window, there's a fresh minor ding on the passenger side, driver side floor board hole repaired, some minor runner rust, no trim parts missing, all locks/windows work, windshield has a line crack, two sets of keys. All the removed factory parts for the modification are included. If you want to ask more questions, ask eBay for my phone number. My typing is slow.
