This 1965 Backdraft Shelby Cobra RT3B is a very unique spec. Build # 1473 was Backdraft's company owner (Reg Dodd) personal project. He customized it to his standards, and it can be seen on their website and social media. I am the second owner and have taken excellent care of it, but it’s time for the next owner to enjoy it. This is a factory-built Cobra, not a garage DIY kit car (like Factory Five).This Cobra looks, drives, and sounds amazing. I guarantee you will get more attention at car shows than Ferraris, Lamborghinis, or other exotics in the $250k+ price point. Thumbs up all day long from people driving by, bystanders twisting their necks to get a second look, and numerous questions at the gas station. This Cobra is anon-stop attention grabber.The perfect blend of modern and classic, this Cobra features a fuel-injected Coyote 5.0 engine with a Borla 8-stack injection, Tremec T56 6-speed transmission, Wilwood 6 piston brakes,Power Steering, 3.73 Limited Slip Differential, and a BMW M3 derived suspension for superb handling. The engine was installed by world famous Speed Fanatix.This Cobra is registered in California under SB-100. The label is affixed to the engine bay and all documentation is included. This also makes it SMOG exempt. If you live in CA and are looking at other Cobra’s from out of state, GOOD LUCK – getting it transported here is one thing, but getting it registered and street legal is another.The color is called Nardo Gray(factory Audi color), and is finished off with black and green stripes that pop! The interior is diamond stitch black leather with suede inserts and green stitching. This is a $120k build.
