Available is a Great 1969 Chevelle SS. I purchased this car approx. 8 years ago. It had been restored prior to me buying it for approx. 2 years and then stored in a climate controlled environment.I have driven the car less than 1000 miles a year since I have owned it. Many of those years it was drive less than 500 miles. It has been garaged at all times. I listed the mileage as such because that is what is recorded on the odometer. I don't know the actual mileage but the engine has less than 5000 miles on it.The paint is in very good to excellent condition. There are minor nicks in the paint, due to the fact that I consider this car a driver. The trunk and floor pans are all in excellent condition. The body is very straight. The previous owner told me that he primed it and blocked it twice prior to painting it the original paint code 10, tuxedo black. He was a professional, owning his own paint and body shop. The engine is a 427. I had it built approx. 6 years ago. The car did not have the original engine and I replaced it. The block is a counter exchange 4 bolt main block that had never been used. It was decked. The assembly was balanced. The engine was built using a forged steel crankshaft, casting # 7115. The pistons are KB standard bore, approx. 10.5 comp. ratio with Scat 6.135 connecting rods. The cam is a 270H comp cam. It has Eldebrock aluminum heads along with an Eldebrock aluminum intake manifold. Scorpion 1.7 roller rockers. A Holley 750 Street HP double pump carb. with mechanical secondaries sits onto of that. The ignition is a brand new MSD distributor and coil. There is a set of Hooker ceramic coat headers and a 3" Pypes exhaust on it. The transmission is a newly built custom M-22 muncie with a wide ration gear set. There is a posi-traction 12 bolt main with a 3:08 gears gear set. The interior has no issues. It has a new headliner and sail panels. Dynamat was installed in allot of the areas. It has a rebuilt factory AM/FM Stereo radio from 1970. All of the lights work except the back-up lights. There is no reverse lever or switch on the transmission. All of the gauges work except the amp. meter, it doesn't function properly. I tested it and the gauge works but I never traced the wiring to figure out if the wiring isn't properly hooked up.This is a great car. It has everything that you would want in a muscle car. Horsepower, incredible torque, and it is a real head turner. It sounds like a muscle car should. Please don't hesitate to ask questions I can add additional photos upon request. |
