Orange Rush was featured at SEMA in the JRI shock booth and has appeared in many magazines. The truck was raced by Bob Bertelsen at many autocross and road race events. It won several of the events and is very competitive. Since the truck has been retired, the motor and transmissions have been rebuilt. The motor was rebuilt by Scoggin Dickey Race Shop and dyno at 644 hp and 599 ft# of torque. The transmission was gone through by Bowler Transmissions. The truck only has about 10 miles on it since the rebuild. The truck drives incredibly well and yes it is street legal. I drove from Charlotte to Jasper Indiana in a couple years ago. Transmission: Bowler Transmission Prepped Stage 2, Tremec T56 Magnum Rear End: Moser Fab Housing, CR Racing True Lock, 370 polished gears Frame: Custom designed and made by Bob Bertelsen Front Suspension: Detroit Speed X595 Cross member, Control Arms & Spindles Rear Suspension: Detroit Speed Quadra Link Suspension Coil overs: JRI Hydraulic Lift Adjustable Shocks Brakes: Baer Brakes 14” 6R Wheels: Forge Line CF3C, Rear 18” x 12 1/2”, Front 18” x 11” Tires: BFG Rival 335/30/18 & 315/30/18 Gages: Autometer LCD Display AC: Vintage Air The truck has hydraulic shocks to raise it up when putting in a trailer. The truck is driven in the lowered position. I have priced the truck to sell. It would cost about $400K to have a shop build this truck. The truck draws a crowd everywhere it goes.
