VIDEO NOW UP!!! (What a nightmare!!!) I believe this 1967 Corvette was on display in the Kassix Auto Museum in Daytona Beach, Florida for approximately 30 years. Klassix was purchased and some Corvettes were auctioned off. This Corvette showed up on eBay and I was able to purchase it from a consignment dealer in LA. The car was originally Goodwood Green with a black interior. It is thought the museum changed it to Red/Red. I believe it is actual milage due to it's condition, especially underneath (see photos). It is a high option car: Tinted glass, electric windows, telescoping steering wheel, speed warning (not wired), leather seats, power brakes but not power steering-which I prefer. I acquired the Corvette in 2011, the engine’s camshaft went flat in 2014. Since it was not feasible to restore the car, I decided to upgrade it to modern utility. The engine was completely rebuilt using a Crane roller cam/lifters and Edelbrock Preformer Aluminium heads. The center carburetor was replaced (included) and the inner and outer carbs rebuilt. At the same time I installed a Ledgends Performance SS-700 5-speed overdrive transmission, Vintage Air A/C, aluminum radiator, Pertronics Ignition, and changed the differential ratio to 3:70 (1st & 2nd gear is like you have a 4:11 5th is like a 3:05. 70mph = 2400rpm). Basically, the entire drive line was rebuilt or replaced. The tires were replaced with Coker red line radials. I’ve only put 8,200 miles on it since. Also included is the 1967 Assembly Manuel with index (rare). The body has the typical stress crack at the left headlight (see video). There are no other cracks. There are minor paint chips and windshield chips (view video). I added a stock right side mirror to eliminate the bad blind spot. The paint is very glossy and bright. The interior is clean with no old car odor, and in excellent shape. Wheels are reproduction including the spare. What’s interesting, the spare tire is a stickered bias ply of unknown age. I couldn’t bring myself to replace it. Obviously this is not an investment, restored, NCRS, or survivor Corvette. What it is, is a reliable, useable, beautiful Corvette which is now is an awesome, head turning, cruising Corvette that is a treat to drive even in traffic at 90 degree temperatures. It has always been awarded when it is shown. How many Red/Red 67’s are out there? Every time I take it out of it’s climate controlled Garagemahal for a ride, I’ll get waves, beeps, high fives, and thumbs up. It does attract a lot of attention so be prepared to be patient with people when you’re near it. If you live in California, I’ll transfer the vanity plate TICKGTR (If you can't figure it out, see video) to you. I am selling only because we are downsizing: (MLS #20025326) and we want to get a 2022 C8 Z06. This is a great opportunity for you to get into one of the most iconic Corvettes ever made. I encourage and welcome you or your knowledgable representative to come check out the '67 on my lift and go on a test drive. If you fly into Sacramento, I will come and pick you up. I will help and cooperate with your shipper. I just want you to enjoy and preserve the Corvette just as much I did. Penn Valley is 7 miles west of Grass Valley, California.
