This rotisserie restoration was undertaken by V8 Speed Shop for Royal Purple Motor oil hence the name Royal Sport. The car was documented with hundreds of photos which can be found online by searching “V8TV Royal Sport”. The car was based on a concept by Ben Hermance Designs in conjunction with Kevin Oeste and Royal Purple. Amongst many desirable resto-mod upgrades it sits on a Pro-Touring Schwartz G-Machine chassis complete with QA1coil overs, Appleton Rack and Pinion, Ford 9”, tubular adjustable control arms and a 4-link rear suspension. The car drives straight as an arrow and stops on a dime. The car is ready to pound the pavement as it sits. The paint and chrome condition is a 9.95 out of 10. Keep in mind the car has 1500 miles on it since it was built so underside chips can be seen since the pictures have been taken. Additionally the aftermarket Vintage A/C is complete but not working and the speedometer displays faster speed than the car is going causing the odometer to read 2400 miles when actual miles is probably around 1500 since it was built. This summer I drove the car approx. 200 miles and I have to tell you it is fun to drive! If needed I will coordinate shipping with your pre-paid carrier.
