1963 GMC 1000 in great shape. This lady owned dependable daily driver is registered and inspected with antique plates and always garaged when not being driven. Truck was purchase from Peachtree Custom's in Georgia in February of 2018. The original in-depth post and video when I bought can be seen here but please keep in mind there are so many upgrades to date: http://peachtreeclassiccars.com/vehicle-details/?cid=498Upgrades below:After spending over $7,000 upgrading the truck I now have well over $18k+ invested. The cons and pros - Manual steering, manual brakes, small amount of bubbling under the paint on the lower corner of the passenger side door, no visible rust, driver quality paint, truck is nice and very solid overall. Wood bed is in decent shape but not mint. Gas tank sensor is not reading properly on the new cluster. Could use a new set of tires all around, they have flat spots and a bit of dry rot from the southern heat but have been fine. Inaccurate mileage on this rebuilt higher mileage 327 (not a 350 as stated in the video), 2 barrel 4-speed Saginaw tranny which is a 3 speed w/granny gear. Has some blow-by but runs strong, starts every time, shifts smoothly, and with its dual Flow Master exhaust sounds super sweet. Also has a newer gas tank behind the seat. Since I've owned it, the windshield has been replaced along with all the gaskets, chrome inside and out, new front bumper, rear view mirror, tailgate chains and protectors, side door mirrors, interior dome light, dash cluster and gauges, upholstery, jute, carpet and floor mats, steering wheel, fluids all been changed in 2019. New battery, radiator, water pump, belts, rear end. Frontend rebuilt in 2018. Lights, directionals, and horn work as they should. I have a box of all the old parts which will go with the truck.I have the title in-hand along with all of my receipts. There is still time to enjoy this handsome truck this fall.$15,500 or BRO. Serious inquiries only please, no low ball insults. |
