Car isabsolutely 100% rust free. It’s very quick and handles like you’d expect. Itruns cool even during a 90 minute drive around Houston on a 90 degree day andit doesn’t leak oil! In the last 2 months it has been almost completely rebuilt.New Nardi wheel, genuine Italian Webers, genuine leather seats, great conditionconvertible top and tonneau cover, new Toyo R888R tires. Bid with Confidence!!!Mechanical info:· 1800 CC AE code engine is just rebuilt. 74mmCrankshaft, 88mm Pistons. The engine was originally built by Elmer Fohey at FWAuto Tech in Houston and according to the paperwork I have he estimated it at120-130 hp. I just rebuilt the bottom end and had the heads rebuilt byBugaholics here in Houston.· Genuine Italian Weber IDF40 dual carburetor setup was just rebuilt with Redline carb kits and new 2.25” velocity stacks and115 main jets. Sync’d perfectly and tuned for sea level and lower altitude. Mainjets are very easy to change if the car lives at high altitude in the future,very easy.· New Pertronix electronic ignition, both thedistributor and coil. New grey Bosch wires.· New timing belt.· New clutch.· Fresh Cadillac gold paint.· Genuine German seals including the correct Hengine seal to keep it running cool.· New battery from Costco makes the warrantypainless.· No oil leaks.· Heat exchangers included.Chassis:· New front brake pads.· Rear brakes are as new and adjusted properly.· Handbrake adjusted properly.· Coil over shocks front and back.· Roll bar chassis connection points areinstalled, the roll bar is included, you just have to put the holes in thecarpet and bolt it in if you want it. Not my taste to run a roll bar though.Interior:· Brand new genuine leather seats mounted on lowprofile sliding brackets.· Brand new genuine Nardi steering wheel.· New grey carpet kit from Vintage Motorcars.· New full interior covering of sound deadener.· Rear seat cushion is most likely vinyl but itlooks great and coordinates well with the front seats.· All gauges work, including the temperaturegauge.· Big Foot clutch shaft kit from Unique Partsmakes it easier for bigger foot people to drive.· Front trunk is very clean with the battery holddown function properly and a custom cover over the battery to neaten up thestorage area.· Windshield washers work but I keep it empty tokeep anyone from accidentally spraying it. Not really a car that needs that.Exterior· The Porsche red paint is in great condition, it’sincredibly bright and shiny. However some flaws in the form of very small chipsaround the driver door can be found if one knows where to look.· All of the badging is new and mounted properlyby drilling into the body. No, the car is not actually covered in orange dots,those are in the photos only to keep the people at Porsche happy.· The bumpers look great but they do have somescuffs, polishing may or may not buff those out. Set of T bars are included ifthe new owner would like to swap them out.· Convertible top is in great condition with onlya little yellowing of the otherwise clear back window, that is a cheap and easychange if one cares at all.· Side windows are in new condition and come inthe proper carrier.· Cockpit cover is in great condition and zips toexpose the driver side only if wanted. | |
