You've seen me build these into a kick ass 6 figure Street Rod on the show, and while there are plenty of really nice $30,000-$40,000 examples out there, there aren't enough nice "drivers" out there to be had, so I'm offering this to you like I found it, running & driving and waiting for your touch.The exterior shows well enough with an older respray that is showing it's age now. The trim and chrome are complete and in good condition showing well too.The interior is good condition with what looks like some newer interior components mixed in with some original items as well. All of the glass is in good condition and all 4 windows operate smoothly along with the dash mounted power top controls.Under hood photos reveal the 352 CID V8 and 2 speed Ford-O-Matic transmission that have been maintained throughout the yearsUnderside pics reveal the fairly solid chassis with minimal superficial rust present on most components (see all pics please).While this is a nice example of the 1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner Convertible, it's not perfect. There are a few nicks and chips in the paint along with a few whiskey dents and the older respray has some issues with "crazing" & "pitting". The convertible top is worn & torn , but usable as shown (see all100+ pics).These would be easy repairs if you want to address these items once you get it. Kaufman thought he was crazy, but signed on anyway. Eight years later, the shop is all that and more. They owe their success to a strict business model. They don’t buy parts—only whole models without too much rust. Owing to his business background, Rawlings has a handle on the market, and knows the price he ought to pay.
