| 1929 Mercedes Gazelle replica. Titled as a 1980 assembled vehicle. Built on a Ford pinto drivetrain with auto trans. Garage find, this car was last registered in 1995. My shop has brought it back to life with a fuel system flush, new timing belt, battery, and new water pump. This is a very nice example in surprisingly good condition. Listed below are a few points of concern worth mentioning. The tires have flat spots from years of sitting, but hold air and have plenty of tread with no major signs of dry rot. The carburetor could use a final tune as it has a slight hesitation on the low end. Paint is in above average condition with very few minor blemishes. Chrome will need some polishing, mainly the wheels. I have personally driven this car about 10 miles up to approx 50mph. Flat spots are very noticeable and tires will need replaced sooner than later. Brakes pull a bit to the left under hard braking. I operate with complete transparency and do my very best to describe all known issues with any vehicle I list.
