Selling my 1964 Chevrolet C-10 Side-Step Pick-up truck. My beautiful blue, sleek truck is ready forits next owner - time and my inability to keep her in tip top shape with mymilitary life-style are beginning to show. As much as I love my truck, I need to find someone who will take care ofit. I just got the truck back from alocal classic restoration shop and she is running like new! While it’ll easily take you wherever you wantto go right now, it will need some electric and body work to get back toshowroom standards. I’d say she’s 70%finished machine – 30% project car. Thistruck will make the right person extremely happy. Some of the highlights:- Truck running well! I drive it to work weekly and I get compliments everywhere I go- Small block GM 350 Vortec engine installed in 2012 and hasroughly 3,000 miles on it - New wiring harness installed with engine in 2012- Underside of fenders, body, and inside bed sprayed withblue Rhino Liner- shaved door handles with remote solenoid openers- Custom repositioned gas tank to rear of truck with customfender door- Barely worn BF Goodrich tires with American Racing rims- Transmission - Turbo 350 rebuilt with shift kit, paintedbody color- Power Steering and breaks.- Break system rebuilt in 2012, upgraded to dual cell unit.- Custom interior (see photos). Odometer reading wasn’t reset when new engine wasplaced in. New engine has roughly 3,000miles and restoration body currently has just under 4,000 miles.- Work totaling $10,000+ done at local Classic Cars Restorationshop until first military assignment in late 2012.- Truck in storage during my military assignment 2013-early2015, mid 2016 – 2017, 2017 - late 2019.About me and why I'm selling: Ipurchased this truck 95% complete from a restoration shop in Arizona in 2011. I very much enjoyed it for 2 years. I then joined the military and it has sincebeen difficult for me to maintain and upkeep. After consecutive deployments coupled with overseas assignments, I knowenjoying a truck like this isn’t in my cards. It is important to me that wherever my truck ends up, it is well takencare of. Selling to the right person isimportant to me.Truck issues: Thetruck had to be stored for long periods of time while I was away. Issues include:- Cosmetic issues – scratches, worn down paint. Rusting driver side door frame and edge ofcab by bed. Paint bubbling, streaks inoriginal paint job. Roof sun damage.- Several electrical issues- Small leaks around doors as the seals are getting old.- Truck bed needs new wood paneling.- Rusting on most chrome surfaces. Looking forward to hearing from you and answering yourquestions. I want the best for my truck and for the person who purchases it. PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN MY TRUCK. I have more photos to share ifrequested. Would love to discuss furtherwith interested buyers on the phone. Thanks everyone -Matt |
