CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |
---|---|
For your consideration, a 1956 Project/Parts Convertible. As you can tell by the photos, this is a donor car to help someone build a convertible. This is a REAL Convertible that has the proper VIN Tag & Cowl Tag. With good sheet metal you could build a very nice '56 Chevy Convertible, colors black & yellow; with contrasting interior. Paint Code: 696, Trim Code: 608, Body Number: L - 5796. Obviously, this car does not run or drive. It will have to be trailered. I will be glad to help load it onto your trailer. It has all the necessary parts for power brake unit for a '56 Chevrolet; pedals, brackets & triddle vac power brake unit in place on the car. The windshield chrome will need some work because it was bent in the accident. But, I have repaired and used trim in that condition before. Using proper donor car for sheet metal, all the convertible structure can be installed. If you don't intend to buy, please don't bid. If you have less that 20 positive feedback, don't bid unless you contact me first, or your bid will be canceled. Buyer is responsible for transportation. Any deposit is non-refundable. Please contact me with any questions. The last picture is of a convertible that was built in this method, and it won first place in a national car show. As you see, it can be done with a lot of hard work. This is not for the faint of heart, but you can build a nice convertible very reasonably. This is a true No Reserve Auction. If you want this convertible, be the high bidder. I'll be glad to help with any questions you have, just email me. |
