| About this vehicle This 1966 Ford Fairlane is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven. Seller's Notes Neat ol car!! 1966 Fairlane XL500 convertible, factory 390, Auto, ps, power top (that still works!), with the plastic rear window. I have taken the old top material off and saced the rear window. Dash pad has a crack at speaker. I purchased this from the owner who had owned it since 1968. The family parked the car for winter in 1976, he said it was about that time when a few parts were Borrowed from the Fairlane and they never actually made it back to the car, so it has sat ever since. Odometer shows 88k miles, although I can not prove that to be original, the 86 year old gentleman I bought it from says it is. Original 390 motor,I was also told, has Never been out of the car. Very solid floors and trunk, smal rust through at right rear lower 1/4 edge between wheel opening and rear bumper. Exterior Interior Engine original 390 Motor, never been out of the car. Over the years the farmer who had the car (since 1968!) needed a fan and a pulley and carburator for his truck. So he Borrowed them off of the Fairlane while it was sitting, and sadly the parts never found their way back to the Fairlane. Not pictured is the powee steering pump and brackets, those are included with the car. Motor spins freely and I believe with some effort, it could possibly run after sitting since '76.
