CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
I am proud to offer this survivor 1959 Mercedes Benz 180A four door sedan for sale. The 180 series were marketed as “Executive Cars" and proved to be the bread-and-butter for Mercedes back in those times. This example comes in a calming off-white that was recently re-painted, but the tan interior looks original and is in excellent condition for its age. The car runs and drives very well, with the 1.9L inline four-cylinder engine and the 4-speed manual transmission giving its new owner decent performance and great gas mileage for a classic car. If you like honest survivor cars that tell a story just looking at it, this Mercedes 180A could be the next car for your collection. Even though a few hundred thousand 180 Sedans were built between 1953 and 1961, Mercedes-Benz had a limited number of dealers in the US at the time and consequently very few were exported to the U.S. Owning a car like this will get you a lot of attention and conversation. You don’t see a lot of them, unless you go to a Mercedes-specific event. The car is located in Orlando Florida and buyer is solely responsible for shipping. Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase. If you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, don't hesitate to ask. I have tried my best to describe this vehicle as accurately as I can. While this vehicle is in good condition for its age, it is from the 1950's and can have some imperfections that I'm not aware of. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due via PayPal when the auction ends. The final payment is due within 5 days after the auction ends. Balance is to be paid via bank wire transfer. Check will need to clear with the bank before the vehicle is released and the title is sent. The winning bidder needs to contact me within 24 hours after auction ends to make payment arrangements. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay. Again, buyer is solely responsible for shipping arrangements.
