| 1975 Triumph TR-6 ConvertibleThis is an extremely nice low mileage TR6 with Java Green Exterior and Black Interior. It's history is known from new, and it is showing just 37,615 miles. It runs and drives great and comes complete with the original window sticker and booklets.History: This car was purchased new as a company car for an executive, Although the car was originally from Ohio it was the executives second car and was rarely driven in wet weather. In 1985 the engine was damaged with just 30,000 miles on it from over revving the engine in combination with a loss of oil from blow oil pressure gauge line. He wanted to keep the car so the company's owner gifted it to him. So, technically speaking the car has had four owners including myself, all be it the first and second owners were the same person. The car spent some time in Florida with the previous owner before I purchased it and brought it back to Ohio.Performance: Instead of rebuilding the original engine, he decided to retro fit the car with a 1969 TR6 engine because he wanted higher compression, torque and performance offered by the earlier engines. He had the 69 engine rebuilt and professionally installed.He saved the original engine and I still have it and it is included with the sale of the car.Body, Floors & Frame: The trunk, floors, frame and undercarriage are totally original and in amazing condition. The fit of the doors, hood and trunk are outstanding and the body is laser straight as you can see from the close up pictures. It has had one, very high quality repaint in the original color Java Green about 17 years ago and it still looks great.Interior & Trim: The seats, door panels, and dash are original and in very good condition for their age. The carpets and dash pads have been replaced by the previous owner who sold the car to me in 2018. It has a newer convertible top and top cover that show nice. The bumpers and trim pieces are all original and in nice condition. The wheels have been professionally stripped and powder coated.Mechanical & Electrical: The engine runs very well and the car is ready for the road, I recently had the car in my mechanics shop and had him service it so it is ready to go to its new owner.Documentation: This car has a clean title in my name and will be sold complete with a bill of sale. The car is also being sold with the original window sticker, booklets and owners handbook.Deposit & Payment: A $500 non-refundable Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, the balance must be paid by cashiers check or by bank wire transfer with 7 days from close of auction. Funds must clear in my bank account before the car will be released to the buyer. If the buyer fails to meet my payment terms or fails to complete the transaction he will forefeit the $500 deposit and I reserve the right to issue a second chance offer to interested bidders. The buyer is responsible for paying sales tax based on the purchase priceTransportation & Shipping: The buyers is responsible for arrangements, costs , fees and duties associated with transporting and shipping the Triumph TR6 to its new home.
