CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |

I have for sale a 1964 Ford Fairlane two door hardtop. This car is set up for the strip. It has a title so you could correct a few things and use it on the road. This car is like a time capsule. It was a 80's drag car and was stored due to health reasons. The previous owner said the 351 engine is a rare fresh 1971 ford mustang Boss engine. I didn't want to put my foot into it because it's such a rare engine. The odometer reads 44,000 and I believe that to be true mileage for the body because of the over all condition. It doesn't have any rust. The glass is all good, the doors line up good and don't sag. They close like a newer car. I will take more pictures tomorrow. I don't know much about race cars but I will answer your question the best I can. I bought it because I love vintage cars and the 64 Fairlane is one of my favorites.I believe with some new rubber, this car could be ready for the strip again.I noticed it pulled to one side when I hit the brakes.Common sense tells me a front wheel cylinder is grabbing from sitting.Easy fix. Would make nice Thunderbolt clone. If you like the 64's, this is the one to have. This car will be listed locally and on social media where I will offer it up for sale or trade for a four wheel drive 3/4 ton four door pickup. You can reach me at 812 493-2510 |
