| About this vehicle This 1934 Ford Coupe is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable. Seller's Notes great car Exterior Gorgeous all Henry Ford Steel 1934 Ford 5 window Hi Boy built by California Hot Rod builder Craig Wallace. This car was owned by the legendary Hot Rod builder from Idaho “Dick Brooks” and was part of his prized collection. This car was chosen as one of “American Rodder’s Top 40 cars and Mattel created a die-cast replica 1:24th & 1:64th set of this 34’ Ford Coupe for their “Hot Wheels Legends” series. Another fun fact: this hot rod held the track record at Firebird Raceway in Boise, Idaho for several years in the Nostalgia Drag Class. Fastest time was 10.2 seconds @ 127 mph. Keep in mind, this was with the blown motor and not the engine that is currently in the car. This is a very special ‘34 Ford High Boy with outstanding history! The stance on this car is absolutely second to none, and the chop is absolutely perfect. The roof is filled and louvered as is the roll pan and trunk lid. There are actually 760 louvers which really compliments the look of the car. The bodywork is outstanding and laser straight all around the car. The taxi yellow paint (PPG Deltron) really pops and looks incredible on this coupe. The custom black leather interior was done by Dale Woods and was meant to be simple and race ready. Features include: custom built adjustable seats covered in rich black leather, original steel color-matched dash, autometer gauges w/separate Auto Meter Tachometer, Hurst ratchet shifter w/skull knob, 5-point Simpson Racing harnesses and full roll cage. The interior is very comfortable and highly functional. The motor is a built 350 small block Chevy with dual 4 barrel Holley carbs, Isky camshaft, Mallory dual point ignition, custom built ceramic coated headers with cutouts. The transmission is a TH400 with a B&M Holeshot converter which feeds the power to a stock car products “Quick Change” rear end with 3.73 gears. The car is equipped with disc brakes up front and drums in the rear and has a Vega steering box. Underneath, everything is nicely detailed and the coil overs w/shocks, springs & hairpins you front & Magnum axles make handling nice & easy. This one of a kind Hot Rod has been featured on the cover of several Street Rodding magazines and has won countless first place/best of show awards & trophies. This car needs nothing, is turn key and ready to drive anywhere.
