1977 MG Midget 1500 Convertible for sale by private owner1977 MG Midget. Beautiful color combo. Black exterior, black interior, and tan top. It has a 1500cc motor coupled to a four speed manual transmission, and has 68000 miles. Unknown if actual or not.I took this car as a partial trade on a corvette. Some recent work was done prior to my ownership. It has new motor mounts, new brake calipers, new brake lines, new fuel pump, new battery, new valve cover gasket, coolant, radiator hoses, and recent oil change. It also has spoke knockoff wheels and new tires. It starts right up, runs and stops nicely. Clutch is good and it goes into all gear without issue. Slight exhaust leak from under the car, but kind of gives it a nice sound. Does not smoke. The interior is finished in black and is in excellent condition. Unsure if the interior is original but it looks new. No rips or tears in seats. Door panels are also in very good shape. Carpet is excellent. Also carpet and trim behind the seats is also in excellent condition. All gauges appear to be in working order. All lights inside work. An aftermarket stereo was added. Heater is hooked up and in working order. The convertible top is in fabulous condition. No rips, tears, or other issues. No stains/discoloring. The underside of the top is also in great condition.Exterior lights are in working order. The body has a few dings and some chips and scratches. The hood seems to have had some previous repairs and does have some cracking, along with the front lower valance. I would consider the paint to be in driver condition. Looks good, but upon close inspection it does have flaws. No rust to be found. Floor pans are solid and original. Rockers also look rust free. Trunk floor is solid. Trim is in good condition. Lights and lens' look great. Glass is great with no chips or major scratches. Minor scuffs on front bumper. Included with this car is a black leather cover for when the tan top is entirely removed (not just put down), stock wheel remover and jack, good spare wheel and tire, and keys.
