Rare, loaded, and original 1978 Ford F-250 Ranger high-line pickup still wearing it’s original Medium Copper and Tan two-tone paint. Loaded to the gills including the powerful 400 4v V8 engine option, C6 heavy-duty automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, dual tanks, Ranger “Race Track” trim package, original steel wheels & hubcaps, and more. This truck just received a thorough cleaning inside and out, as well as a reupholstered front seat in correct factory pattern. The original factory two-tone paint has been professionally prepared, and treated to a new clear coat, sealing in the beautiful patina. Being original and not a repaint, you can expect minor dings, scratches, rubs, etc. As you can see, the truck still shows very well overall, and is extremely straight, with no stand-out body damage. The Ranger race track trim is in very nice condition; this is a great-looking classic. The interior is very nice-looking and has much new, including a carpet kit and pad, new seat upholstery, professionally dyed door panels, and more. The dash pad is very nice, the gauges and bezels as well. The headliner is original and still in pretty good condition.. The newly upholstered bench seat looks great and was also re-foamed, so it feels great as well! I would say the outer body and cab of the truck are essentially rust-free, other than incidental surface rust. I can’t see any rust-through in the floors, fenders, door corners, cab corners, etc. A very dry truck, actually, and with original paint you can clearly see the truck is solid. We don’t salt the roads here, so a maintained truck is generally a dry truck. There was some rust-through in the bed near the bulkhead which has been reinforced and repaired. The bed now has a new Raptor spray-in bed line, and is not only solid but looks nice too. Good glass, side windows roll up and down smoothly, nice mirrors. Other than the top of the bed rails, I am not seeing extra holes. Original factory steel wheels and hubcaps make for a nice, unmolested look. Nice heavy-duty rear bumper with receiver hitch for towing. The grill surround was cleaned and polished, and the grill and headlamp bezels repainted. Sound daily-driver mechanical condition with good brakes, a fresh tune up and carburetor adjustment, and new fluids & filters. Super easy to drive, steer, and stop with full power. The truck has 117k miles on it. This was a factory AC truck; the in-cab and firewall components appear to still be present; the compressor and bracket are missing. This is great classic survivor Ford truck that still shows well, turns heads, and won’t break the bank. Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection, export, etc. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 42-year-old used classic vehicle, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Expect minor issues associated with a surviving, unrestored vehicle of this era. Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via cash, deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer.
