CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
We found this 58 in Rhode Island and purchased it from a senior citizen. He had owned this car over 30 years and drove it sparingly. The no hit body and frame on this car are mint. The frame has some traction bar weldments but is rock solid. Prior to his ownership the car was used for drag racing. Upon his ownership he painted the original black car red. He did not like the louvered hood so he replaced it with a flat hood. Original louvered hood is included with the sale. A 1966, 327, block #3858180 code HCH with a 4 speed Muncie transmission, Hurst shifter, were installed along with an open rear end. We have driven the car for approximately 30 miles. The Cragar wire wheels and tires are 30 years old as well, and tires need replacement. With a little TLC this car would be a great driver, looks great from 15 feet away or an excellent candidate for any restoration project. Side cove and fender stainless are in excellent shape. Gauges and lights all work except speedo and clock. Interior is in great shape, headliner has fallen from hard top. Hardtop plexiglass is crazed. A convertible top frame is installed but vinyl is shot. Bumpers are straight, paint is okay, but look better in pics than actual. Please watch you tube video.
