CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
1972 Ford Bronco. 66,250 miles. Fun to drive. Some of the paint is faded in areas. It is almost 50 years old. The frame is solid and in very good condition. The hood, front clip, and ride side front fender have all been replaced and the paint is great. The tub of the vehicle is fiberglass and in good shape. The glass is good and there is some rust on the roof area and some on the doors and on the sides of the windshield. It could use a new dash pad because it has a few cracks in it. It could stand to have the front seats recovered. It leaks some oil. Apparently these do. It has a 302 V8 engine with a manual 3 speed transmission that was converted from the tree to a hurst shifter on the floor. I am not mechanically inclined and I am not sure where the oil leaks from. When driving it for about 5 minutes, shifting into 3rd is a little tricky. You have to let the RPM's drop some and then it slides right in. It has been like this since I got it. I bought it and drove it home and it was a 2 hour trip. I would not hesitate to drive this further on an even longer trip. It has drum brakes all the way around but I am used to it and I don't mind them, but it would probably take someone else longer to get used to it. I was told it could use a drag link sometime when I get around to it. I planned on replacing the dash pad and redoing the front seats, and replacing the drag link this winter while it was in the garage. People love the color of this and the rack on top looks very cool and as if it should have a surf board attached. I love driving it so that other people can see it and appreciate it as much as I do. It is not everyday you see a unicorn like this. Please call me if you are serious and I will be happy to answer any questions and do a facetime walk around with you to show the vehicle. I do not know hardly anything about the vehicle's past. I bought it from a guy in Pennsylvania who had it registered there. When I registered it in NY, they said it came from Arizona. Other than that, I do not know anything about the history or the vin number. It runs good and drives good and gets noticed everywhere I go.
