| About this vehicle This 1949 Ford Custom is an original with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven. Seller's Notes 1949 Ford Shoebox Tudor sedan chopped 4” in front and back frenched head and tail lights 55 Desoto custom grille hood and deck lid shaved along with door handles. All original glass included ( not fitted for new chop top). drive train is Flathead V8 with 3 speed manual transmission. Engine completely rebuilt with 4” SCAT crank shaft and new pistons. All engine machine work blueprinted and documented. Polished Edelbrock cylinder heads and polished Offenhauser dual carburetor intake manifold. Polished rebuilt dual 94 Holley carburetors. Jamco front suspension 3” drop with tubular A-arms, disc brakes and front sway bar. After market Master Cylinder with brake booster purchased from Jamco Suspension. Jamco rear suspension 4” drop.
