| About this vehicle This 1961 Land Rover Series II is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle needs work. Seller's Notes see pics and discription Exterior 1961 land rover series 2 with clear New Jersey title in my name, title is marked N for not actual miles and reflects 175k Miles this land rover is not restored it is sold AS IS IT IS A PROJECT the vehicle runs, moves,stops the engine doesn't make any off noises or burn oil best I can tell, dosent smoke brakes are have been replaced all around and work pedal is hard brake master cylinder is brand new clutch works, clutch master is brand new ,rubber hose is new, clutch slave is brand new, metal line from reservoir to clutch master is new nickle copper line brake and clutch have dot 5 silicone fluid to prevent moisture build up the park brake does work the generator does not charge I am running this off a gas can the fuel tank is rusty and has a small hole I have changed the motor oil and filter and serviced the back rear and other fluids, there is clean green coolant and the vehicle can sit running without overheating hi and low both work on the transfer case all transmission gears work and it dosent pop out of gear ,I have driven around my neighborhood the locking hubs work ,one sticks and is hard to turn there appear to have been repairs to the front of the frame ,body outriggers and rear x member are replaced by previous owner , both frame rails need repair just behind the rear mount on the front springs see pics all seats are intact see pics for condition engine has a holley carburetor, there is a correct solex included see pics of loose parts floor pans are not bolted down and the front of them were replaced by previous person passenger a pillar needs repair at the bottom which is common see pics there is no muffler but honestly it's so quiet I'm not sure it needs one the oil gauge works, water temp doesn't as the lead is cut, included is an original used that should work see pics tires hold air and have great tread but are dryed out spare is included and can mount on the hood or on the rear door NONE of the lights currently work they are all unplugged and the harnesses are tied up the tail lights may need replacement with new, there are spare parts for them see pics left front spring is broken see pics paint is not professional both fenders have damage,left fender has an access hole cut in it to get to the clutch master, and had a steel plate pop riveted over it by a previous owner overall this vehicle is very complete and with a few parts and a little work could be a decent driver to have fun with, I just have to many projects vehicle sold as is where is buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements buyer will paypal $500 usd non refundable deposit, once the listing ends final payment can be cash in person, paypal , cashier's check, vehicle will net leave here until payment is fully cleared my bank vehicle will be paid in full and removed from my property within 7 days I reserve the right to end the auction at any time do not contact me with help to sell or negative comments no you cannot test drive it it's not registered or insured, vehicle will need to be removed with a trailer Interior Engine Created on the eBay Motors app | |
