Selling now to make room for other projects (7 vehicles and only 3 garage spaces!). This car is a very solid survivor. Under 39,000 original miles. All stock except for 12v conversion (alternator and electric fuel pump). Original, stock 235 "Stovebolt 6" engine starts right up and runs great. Automatic transmission--1st year for Chevy's Powerglide unit. It is technically a 2-speed, as you can start in L and manually upshift to D, but it normally operates as "1 speed"--put it in D and acts as a torque converter only--smooth operation with no shifting.All gauges work--fuel gauge has new sending unit; speedometer works smoothly but is a bit off due to slight change in tire size. Original accessory turn signals work. All lights work except interior dome light. Original horns included (have not been made functional yet).Brakes have been COMPLETELY REBUILT: new master and all 4 wheel cylinders, all new brake lines, all new shoes, all new hardware, drums turned, adjusted. They work as well as Chevy's 1st generation Huck brakes can work. They are perfectly adequate for daily driving. All new glass and rubber in door vent windows; new window channels in all door windows; new glass in right front door. New rubber in rear window. I have new weatherstrip for all 4 doors and fender skirts and will include with the car. New Goodyear radial tires, probably less than 100 miles on them. All floorboards (except trunk) were rusted out and replaced by the previous owner. It's amateur quality work, but adequate for a driver. New rocker panels have been installed as well, but some finishing is required. There is some rust in the trunk floor outboard of the spare tire well, but otherwise the trunk floor is solid. Previous owner had sprayed the entire car flat black--probably just a protective coating while body work was done. I've touched up the paint to make it more presentable, but be aware no part of this car has a professional paint job! Likewise with the upholstery--the original fabric was 98% gone when I acquired the car; I installed some foam pads and seat covers to make the car drivable. The seats are fully functional, but not restored. The car was also missing door panels, so I made some simple ersatz panels out of plastic sheet--again adequate for a daily driver. All told, this is a very solid, very drivable car that can be used as-is with some minor finishing touches, or a great candidate for a full restoration.
