In the 1960's when gas prices were on the rise and the youth movement was looking for an affordable fun to drive vehicle GM created the Chevrolet Corvair as something to combat the standard vehicle your parents drove but gave you a spacious good looking rear engine rear wheel drive small sporty car. With the air cooled engine you got some get up and go while staying budget friendly with your paycheck. Here we are years later and these cars still have a huge following and this is your chance to get into the classic car world with something very affordable. This particular car features new paint, new upholstery on the front bucket seats, a fire extinguisher and new rally wheels wrapped in new tires for a really vintage 60's muscle car look. The paint is absolutely amazing and the interior is very fresh except for the door panels which are original and will need some attention down the road. The undercarriage is free of rust and corrosion but there are some small leaks here and there that will need to be addressed which willl make for a great winter project for anyone for a quick fix in the driveway. The glass, carpets, all the instruments and everything else on the car works fine. The transmission shifts well and the engine has plenty of pep for a good cruise so you can have something to go to car meets or take on cruises for many years to come.
