RELISTED DUE TO NON RESPONSIVE HIGH BIDDERS (*WINNING BIDDER AND 2ND CHANCE OFFER TO 2ND HIGHEST BIDDER)Ive added that the winning bidder put a 500.00 paypal deposit down. .......1970 Plymouth Satellite . ~1970 Superbird replica,~ 440 engine, automatic transmission, black interior, bench seat. New Toro red paint, detailed engine compartment, fiberglass fenders, Hood, nose, fender scoops and wing. Wing is braced using same style as factory wing braces. Stainless steel wind deflectors. The Headlights are mounted down below inside the nose cone (they do not pop up ). They shine through the grill opening and work well.*visibility even in a real superbird is not the best in the world....This car is based off of a 1970 satellite it was built to cruise and enjoy, it has a mild 440 engine, power steering, power brakes, (no AC), 8 3/4 rear end, 323 gears. This car does NOT have the Superbird rear window plug. It retains its standard satellite Dash, (not a rally Dash.) Overall condition of this car is very good but please keep in mind this is a 50 year old car so there may be something here or there that may need attention, IT IS NOT A PERFECT CAR!! At some point someone put new quarter panels , BUT did not put new inner fenders and you can see some areas of rusted metal where they were not replaced. (again...this is a 50 year old car.) If you are a picky Mopar Enthusiast, this is NOT the car for you. But if you are an avid car guy that likes all kinds of muscle cars and have always admired the superbird's, this car will get just as many thumbs up as real Superbird without the heavy price tag. Building a Superbird clone takes many man hours, they do not come available for sale very often. As a matter of fact most people who start a big project like this, usually quit and sell of the unfinished project. Lastly, I try to build these cars at a price the average car guy can afford, to do this you give up things like realistic pop up headlights, and the unique superbird rear window plug, but those two items can run the build cost up by 7500 to 10,000.00. I have seen guys drop 80k-100k on a clone. So Sure the Mopar guys may down the car because it's not a perfect copy, BUT building the car to exact superbird specs will put the cost out of most peoples financial reach. *( This car resembles a $200,000 real Superbird but at 1/4 the price tag .) Because this car is not a completely restored vehicle, it is sold AS IS with NO Warranties. Again, 50 year old cars Will require more maintenance and up keep as most muscle cars do. (I have to state this because some buyers think they are bidding on a 2020 model vehicle) NO TRADES.* I CAN NOT DO TRADES ON THIS CAR I can not hold this car for anyone, First money buys it. email me with questions. If you have been looking for one of these, BID IT TO WIN IT....they dont come up often! |
