| I acquired this car from a builder (Porsche restorer and previously built FFR Cobra) in 4/2017. He built it for himself, but had trouble getting in and out, so he let it go. I'm 6'1" and had no problem until I had my knee replaced last year. I mostly only drove it to car shows, amazing how much attention it gets! This well built example of a recreation of a Shelby Dayton Coupe is great fun to drive! This is titled in my name in Illinois as a 1965 Ford Daytona Coupe (should be smog exempt) with matching data plate and frame stamped number.The car sports a 1993 Mustang HO 5.0 fuel injected roller engine with BBK upgrades. The builder had the engine disassembled, clearances checked and all gaskets, seals and the oil pump replaced. The 5 speed transmission is coupled to a Mustang limited slip rear end with new 3.55 gears and Yukon 5 lug axles. The four link suspension and Koni adjustable coil over shocks attach the differential to the frame.
