It has beenmaintained by the same classic car shop for over 12 years. The motor is healthy and runs well, Updatedignition and manifold help keep this beauty cool during hot summer days. Frame-off restored a littleover 13 years ago, it shows very well with minor imperfections. It has cold air, power brakes andsteering, along with an upgraded radio.Interior:The Interior has been refurbished, the radio sounds great, the carpet is very nice. All dash items seem towork, motor for the seat is clicking but not moving. It has a hardtop and a soft top is not includedwith the sale. Tach works, as does the vintage air system. The red rubber thunderbird mats lookexcellent.Exterior:The exterior paint is easily an 8 out of 10 with minor imperfections. Wheels and tires are in greatshape. Chrome shows well, wipers work, as do all lights. Fender skirts are clean and can beremoved. The underside is very nice. Has the typical Ford leaks from this era.Drivetrain: Powered by a very healthy 292, breathing through a demon carb. Electrical has been upgraded to 12volts, the Ignition system has been upgraded as well for easy starting. The cooling system has also beenupgraded to a 4-core radiator with an electric fan. The front end is complemented with disk brakes aswell. Transmission shifts as it should and there are no funny sounds from the rear end.
