Here is a beautiful 1973 Volvo P1800ES shooting brake with low miles and I believe that I'm the third owner. It's a daily driver or could be the subject of a good restoration to make it really, really nice. I'm just trying to simplify my life and free up some garage space, or I'd keep it. If I were going to take it to the next level, I'd replace the tires and weather stripping, only because of age. The dash has the vacuum formed caps on it, which look fine from a distance, but it would be cool to go through that with a VP replacement dash. Someone cut and bent the radio tabs in and I'd probably install one of the cool modern stereos that are made to look like vintage Volvo OEM. The clock is missing and someone installed an engine hour meter (who does that?) but it shows 461 hours since an engine rebuild many years ago. It does leak some engine and transmission juice and I'd sort through that.It received a $2,200 paint job back in 2005 (including wheels) and it's held up really well. The body and undercarriage are solid. There are minor rust issues, but easily sorted out and only underneath. The chrome looks good, although the body side chrome has a few dings and a few screws holding it on. Still very presentable, but it just depends on what you want. There is an extra rear window and a car cover included.I'm happy to help load it on a transport or trailer. |
