Up for sale is one beautiful Chevrolet El Camino, with very straight body and very nice bright Red paint. (& well done) We do not know much about the car and the build, as the brother who built the car passed away and the brother that inherited the car only knew it was well built with many dollars spent and it was completely restored. (new paint, new engine and drive train, new upholstery) We think it is a SS clone with SS emblems. the mils on the speedo show 20,345 miles but we think the original miles are 120,345. and do not know how many are on the rebuild. (not many) The body is very nice, with great door, hood, fender and rear tail gate gaps. (please look at all pictures) Nice paint work around doors, under the hood / engine compartment and it looks like the car was apart when painted. Exterior Paint is also very nice with no chips and with a deep shine. Bumpers are re chromed and all bright work looks fresh. The interior is a custom job and very well done also. It was done in cloth over original seats, nice door panels and the head liner is also done in the same material. (very cool interior) It has the original center console with the automatic grab handle shiftier between the bucket seats. The engine as we know is probably a 383 stoker but we can not say for sure. The brother that passed was a engine builder and loved performance. The engine has the Edelbrock intake and carb with headers and 2 1/2" full length duel exhaust out the back. (looks fresh / lots of power) it has a 12 bolt rear end, big sway bars and drives nice with it's power steering and power disk brakes up front. (under the hood is clean & bright) This was a factory air car but it is missing the pump, brackets, and other parts up front in the engine compartment. (they will need replaced if you want air) The dash dose have all the right venting for air. The car is running a set of old school wheels with good radial tires. All glass is good with no chips and windows roll up and down nicely, but the driver side vent window dose not work well. This little El camino is near show quality and runs strong. (great driver) I'm listing this nice Chevy for a friend and will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can, or just come drive it home. For your questions please call Bill (208)750-0000 |
