Up for sale is the pictured 1979 GMC Jimmy with High Serra trim package. One of our staff members is the original owner of this vehicle. It was purchased new from the GMC dealership in Nampa Idaho. This vehicle has only 90144 original miles. The vehicle has never been wrecked or repaired. The frame is not bent and has never been straightened. The exterior is in good condition it the original paint, it does need a paint job. The roof unit has never been taken off so there is no leaks, the roof shows signs of weathering. The interior is original, the passenger and driver seats have been reupholstered and they need attention again. The center console is not original. The headliner is gone however I do have a new one that needs to be installed. The side sliding windows work and the rear power window works. The power locking system works and the power passenger and driver side windows work. The heating and cooling system works. The original dartboard instruments work, the auxiliary instruments on the driver side dashboard do not work. The original instruments need to be re hooked up. The auxiliary instruments are made my auto meter and have live time guarantee. All the interior lights work. The vehicle has a heavy duty trailer hitch and custom heavy duty rear leaf springs. It has dual exhausts with no catalytic converter. The engine has had the air conditioning system upgraded the current technology, AC system. The vehicle has duel battery system. The vehicle has a custom heavy duty radiator and transmission cooler. The vehicle runs it does need an new camshaft. The 4-Wheel drive system works. The tires and wheels are new.
