| '64 SS runs amazing, highway cruise 80 at 2300rpm, lopey 327 sounds great. Nice car, fun to drive, has a lot of cool stuff like the auto trans with OD and billet hood hinges and cowl hood, newer quick fuel carb on an Endurashine Edelbrock intake, dual electric fans sit on an aluminum radiator, headers with dual exhaust 327 valve covers, new wires and cap, posi rear end with 3:50 gears with traction bars and billet stud differential cover. B&M shifter with original chrome center console, new carpet, headliner is great condition. Centerline wheels with brand new TA tires all the way around, Kenwood 6" flip out DVD CD stereo 6x9 speakers in deck, 2004R transmission, new gas tank and sending unit installed 3 years ago, gas gauge works perfect and the speedometer is dead-on. Power steering, Chrome 1 wire alternator, Edelbrock full flow air cleaner, Has all original SS chrome side mouldings and grill, has great oil pressure and doesn't use any oil. We have owned this car for over 3 years and have never had any mechanical issues. The issues it does have are 1 tail light and blinker aren't working, the paint has flaws you can see up close, both front seat bottoms stitching is coming apart and will need reupholstered. Has some pin hole rust spots in the trunk pan, back window has a crack, but I purchased a new one that will be included with car. The SS side chrome mouldings are coming loose in spots and will need new adhesive. The overdrive transmission never had the lockup installed but I have one that will be included( doesn’t need it installed except some people say tranny life with be extended with it) it hooks up externally so not a big job . This car, like all cars, is being sold as is and I recommend having it inspected before you bid. All that being said, everyone that sees it, loves it and gets thumbs up everywhere it goes, it is the first year Chevelle and the SS with the 327, cant get much cooler than that.
