| 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible V8 Manual RestomodCar is a rotisserie build, owner couldn't afford to finish the build. I purchased the car from the builder exacatly the way it sits. Was told by the builder it was a numbers matching car that ran and drove before they started the restoration, car came from California. I'm not sure if it is in fact a numbers matching car. What I do know is:-Rearend is a Johns Industries 9" with 31 spline moser axles, 355 gear posi with disk brakes. Maier rear leaf springs.-Front suspension is Rod & Customs weld in kit with QA1 coilovers with sbf motor mounts, disc brakes-All rear brake lines are done on the rear and are ran to the front of the car.-Frame is tied on the floor and rockers were cut open and reinforced/welded/tied also.Couple of patches were done on the floor and were all filled/smoothed before the underside of the car was painted. Cant even tell they were ever repaired.-The engine bay was primed and painted (can get paint code if needed).-The car needs body work, rear quarters need finished. One quarter is just tacked on and the other isn't even welded to the car. The panels (doors/fenders/hood/trunk/grille) are in good shape with just a couple of rust bubbles on the doors at the bottom. Car needs a full restoration on the paint side.- Was told the engine is the original V8 289, ran before they disassembled the car. Original 4 speed manual transmission. I do have the original 5 lug front drum brakes that came off the car.-Aftermarket VDO guage cluster-Have aftermarket front sway bar also that needs installed.-Has a fuel cell with custom mounting brackets made already.-Bumpers need chromed but are oem and in great shape. The car is missing some parts, haven't went thru everything to find out exactly what is missing. Missing: One front door glass, windshield, radio, drivers door mirror, dash pad, steering wheel accent pieces, taillights, headlight bezels, quarter extensions. Probably some other parts but im unsure on exact parts. There is probably a ton of stuff I'm missing about the car, if you have any questions about it please send me a message.
