Fabulous 1970.5 Pontiac Firebird Formula. This is a beautiful driver quality car tat has had two owners from new.First owner purchased the car new in Connecticut and enjoyed the car for almost three years. During that time, the engine was replaced but the car was otherwise entirely original. The second owner purchased the car in 1973 and kept the car until they passed a couple months ago. I am tasked with selling the car. It is an incredibly well maintained car with absolutely no rust anywhere, no accident repairs and all original silid sheet metal and floors. It is a factory four speed car that came from the factory with air conditioning and power windows as well as a host of other performance and comfort options. It has power brakes as well. All of the original options are documented on the build sheet which we got from Pontiac Historical. The car starts, runs and drives great. The paint is about perfect having been done recently by Redline. All of the chrome and trim is also excellent. The car is good enough to show. The interior is also very nice and appears original. It has a period aftermarket tachometer and an upgrade radio but is otherwise as it was in 1970. The seats are firm and comfortable, it has the correct early formula style steering wheel (as shown on the build sheet).I've driven and sorted the car a bunch. It is really reliable and fast. The car is really clean underneath but was not restored. There is no rust, rust repair or patches anywhere on the floors. I have the original owners manual and the car has its jack and spare tire as well. I also have the full PHS package and copy of the original build sheet. The fortunate buyer will be the third registered owner of this car in its 50 year history. You'd be hard pressed to find a better looking example.
