| Up for auction is this very nice, very rare '47 Business Coupe. It has the original flathead six engine and 3 on the tree fluid drive transmission. It starts at a push of a button, instantly. Does not smoke at any time and does not use oil. It idles ever so smoothly & purrs like a kitten. It has 40 lbs of oil pressure. It shifts nice and smooth. It has a new aluminum radiator and runs cool. It goes down the road nice & straight and does not wander at all. It nice and tight and does not rattle or shimmy. It has a nice clean body with no bondo or patch panels. The rockers and perches are all in good shape. The floor has been nicely patched where needed. The paint is very nice, however, not perfect. It has no dents or scratches and the glass is all good. The windows & vent windows operate nicely. The interior has been re-done in period correct materials that look really nice. It has a very nice dash & gauges. All the lights, headlights, tail, brake, courtesy, dome & dash lights all work. All gauges work with the exception of the gas gauge. The speedometer is cool that it changes colors with the change in speed.....green, yellow to orange. The horn blows loudly. It has new radial tire and nice original Dodge Chrome hubcaps. The visor does have a couple dings, however, looks really cool. It has a very nice front grill. The bumpers could use re-chroming. A new cable for e-brake is in the trunk & will need to be installed. That really is all that needs to be done. I have been driving this car and have had no problems. It is fun to drive...like a smooth old boat. It sure gets lots of attention. It is get harder to find this very sharp body style ! It is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please contact me early to discuss this really nice car.
