1967 Mercury Cougar, original 289/3 spd., manual steering and brakes. Engine appears to be original and runs great, 2BBL carburetor overhauled, new distributor with FAST electronic ignition and coil, new aluminum radiator, water pump, thermostat, fuel pump, belts, hoses, spark plugs and wires. New Tri-Y headers and dual exhaust. Brakes have a new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake lines and hoses. New KYB shocks on all 4 corners along with new 235/60-14 MAXXIS tires. Interior is mostly original with a new headliner, dash pad, and front bucket seats. All ORIGINAL CarLite glass, including the windshield with NO cracks. The seals were replaced on both the front windshield and rear glass. The rear seat has some sun damage on the top and should be recovered and the original front bench seat will be included. New tach and oil pressure/coolant temp gauges. The floor pans have been replaced on both sides and subframe connectors installed. The car was originally from Alabama and has no rust at all on the shock towers or wheelwells, but sat outside for most of its life and the top is sun-baked. There was some rust at the top corners of the windshield and around the rear glass that has been properly welded up. The hood is pretty bad, and the trunk lid has some rust on the lower rear corner. Except for a few pinholes on the rear quarters behind the wheels, the rest of car is pretty good but does have a few dents.Ford, Mustang, XR7, 302, 351, Shelby |
