Wilwood front diskNew high output alternatorRacing mechanical fuel pump.New Full 3" in/out mufflersFull Manual Valve bodyAs a previous trackable car, the drive train was built with no expense spared and able to push 10s in the 1/4 with the previous 456 rearend. The paint and body is very presentable but could be made perfect with a new coat. Solid car, with a few imperfections consistent with age but easily repairable for the perfectionist. While the rear wheel wells are mini tubbed, there is plenty of room for back seats if desired. The body and pans are overall solid. A spot right infront riverside backwheel (see pic). A small of the trunk was removed for a fuel cell but patched. Now it has a brand new stock fuel tank. There is also a safety cutoff switch in the trunk. The longer I keep it, I may be adding back seats and a radio. Front tires are brand new, the back have great tread but could be replaced. If I were to keep it, there are a few more things I would add to make better for me.A/C, wiper assembly, rear seats (40" between minitubbs) recover front seats (threads are old and wearing out), radio, hook up dash gauges as speedo and temp are not working (but very good race gauges in center all work), replace rear tires, swap torque converter for a more streetable one. That is all I can think of for now.Any questions, feel free to ask. |
