CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL ME 701-471-3376Here is one of the nicest 1953 Chevrolets you will ever see. Yes it has 35,000 ORIGINAL MILES ! It has not been restored ! This car has a interesting history. It was traded into a car dealership in the 70's. Basically when it was still new enough to just be a old car, but so incredibly nice / low mileage, that it was something special. Maybe the owner of the car dealership was asking way to much money for it, maybe he had one just like it as a kid and couldn't bear to sell it, I don't know for sure, but the owner of the car dealership never sold it. Probably used it in special events like parades or taking kids/grandkids to the dairy queen. The guy kept it until he passed away and at that time his kids inherited it. I bought it from the son of the owner of the car dealership. The son had a 409 Impala he wanted to restore and needed cash, so the 53 was sold to fund that project. How would I describe the condition of this car ? Well if you went down to your local car dealer today looking for used cars and you found a couple year old car with 30,000 miles. For the most part that car would look new. If you were really particular you might find a little something here or there but for the most part it would look very nice. Really that's the condition this car is in. Does it look new and perfect, no, it is 70 years old, but it was definitely lovingly cared for its entire life. The body, chrome, stainless, etc. Basically its like I mentioned above. There are minor things here and there, but when you walk around the car you will be impressed. The paint shines, the chrome sparkles, etc. Its a nice carThe interior is just as nice as the rest of the car. The seats are comfortable, there are no rips, the seat springs/foam don't collapse like a worn out couch when you sit in them. This car is nice. Door panels are clean and crisp, headliner has possibly yellowed a bit, but looks nice. The paint on the dash/window moldings isn't all faded and dull. Chrome on the dash and the guages all are really nice. Like I said before, somebody lovingly cared for this car its entire life. The one thing that may have been updated, and I cannot confirm or deny this, but I believe originally this had a rubber matt on the floor, it has carpet now. This still has the original 6 cylinder and 3 speed manual transmission. It runs and drives like a new one. Steering is nice and tight, brakes stop straight, drives down the road just like a 53 chevy should.
