1979 Pontiac Trans Am. DRIVER CONDITION.Runs and drives with no major issues. Clean clear title. VIN verified real Trans Am and Trim Tag verified as a real black car with camel interior WS4 T/A. I posted a pic of both. Non matching numbers Pontiac 400 engine and non matching numbers 350 automatic transmission.I purchase the car mostly as is. I have driven the car about 250 miles over the last few of months. Starts easy every time.Paint is in good condition. No chips, scratches or rust. However it does have some flaws / imperfection / blemishes. Great driver car that looks great and is fun to drive.The interior is nice. Aftermarket radio and speakers.Most every things works as it should speedo, tach, gas gauge, volt gauge, oil pressure gauge, wipers, headlights. There are a few things like defroster, water temp, lighter, clock, heater blower motor that are not working. Original AC compressor and brackets go with it but are not on the car. There is a crack in the dash pad above the grab bar on the passenger side.The engine is a rebuilt Pontiac 400. Engine casting # 500557 with a date of F 11 6 (1976 Pontiac 400).Cylinder heads both have casting X6 on the exhaust ports with a date of F 10 6 (1976 Pontiac 400). The transmission is a turbo 350. The engine has good power and runs great. Transmission shifts smooth and firm.The chassis looks to be mostly original 103,776 miles with very little being done. I do see some brake lines that have been replace and a ball joint or two. WS6 wheels with matching set of tires that are in nice condition.Floors and frame look good with some surface rust.Exhaust looks and sounds nice with turbo mufflers and correct T/A tips out the back.The car is not perfect but is a sharp looking 40 year old car.
