I imported a low mileage 1966 Land Rover Series IIA 109" from Ireland. My goal was to have a project vehicle with my son. We went through the engine and transmission. Changed the oil, coolant, etc. and engine runs great but it needed a new clutch and flywheel which we replaced. When we moved onto the body, we started replacing the rusted out footwells and side beams. We purchased all new seats and doors. We blasted and painted the seat brackets. Then we ran out of time. He is off to college and I just need the space. The '66 IIA 109" is a rare Land Rover and difficult to find here in the states. We have a clean title from Ireland, Bill of Sale and signed/stamp release from the EPA/US Department of Homeland Security (HS-7). So we have all of the paperwork to complete the registration in your state but you will need to get it inspected once the work is completed. There are a TON of impossible to find parts on this rare find if you are looking for a donor parts vehicle. The original door skins alone have sold for $4000 on other auctions. Let me know if you have any questions. Please note, the first picture is how it arrived from Ireland. All of the other pictures are the current state of the vehicle with old and new parts purchased for the project. Vehicle Number is 26101847. I'm also adding more pictures of underside. |
