Equipped with a 327 V-8 engine rated at 300 HP, four speed transmission, Teak wood steering wheel, leather upholstery, side pipes and a fresh, recent frame off restoration. As with other 66 Corvettes, it also has an AM-FM radio, tachometer, clock, power antenna, power headlights, and full gauge instrumentation. This car has many original date correct parts. A partial list is as follows: Engine – VIN matching Transmission – VIN matching Radiator Dated 6D Heads B166 B46 Harrison Expansion Tank Dated 66B Carburetor (currently has a Quick Fuel in use, but the original Holley is included) List 3367, dated 642 Intake manifold D56 Everything works on the car with the exception of the horns (I am not smart enough to fix it) and the clock works when it wants to. It has Pertronix electronic ignition and starts immediately every time. The side pipes play a mellow tune as the car goes down the road and if you let off the throttle without depressing the clutch there is a masculine popping of the exhaust as you slow down. The Milano Maroon paint shines in the sunlight and reflects the metallic in the paint and the colors flop as you roam the panels on the car from a deep maroon to an almost bright red. The Gold line tires are new and were available as original equipment on the car. The wheels are reproduction knock offs. The original bumpers have been rechromed at great expense and look splendid. The Leather upholstery is new as well as the carpet, instrument bezels, glove box cover, shifter and ash tray cover. The car is in excellent condition; however, due to it’s 54 year old age, it is sold without any warranties of any kind. The car is located in Tyler, Texas, halfway between Dallas and Shreveport and is accessible by Interstate 20 or American Eagle directly to Tyler.
