I bought this car to restore but have too many projects.69 firebird originally an inline 6 cyl car now has small block 350 chevy engine and 3 speed manual trans. This car is believed to be converted from auto to manual at some point in time. Hole in floor for shifter does not look factory and is unfinished and with no boot.Front end was taken apart for a restoration but the prior owner bailed out and it sat in his garage since 1986 like this as pictured. The grille, headlight bezels, aprons, brackets and hardware are in the trunk and included but need work as there are cracks in the fiberglass bezels and the grille has some dings. He did over time install new subframe bushings, new rear leafs, new $700 stainless gas tank, new brake cables, and shocks.Car does run and drive. Engine is a 1972 Chevy 350 4 bolt main with a Holley 600 carb, 480 camshaft, headers and cherry bomb type muffers. Power steering is not hooked up but it has a PS box already on frame and pump is sitting in the trunk.Original 1969 spare wheel and tire is on left rear. Has new front tires and one new rear tire (all 14"). 10 bolt rear end...looks like it may have been rebuilt.Interior is nice. Seats have no rips. Dash has a crack. Headliner has a seam coming apart. Carpet is good.Paint is terrible up close and it needs a repaint. Has bubbles in clearcoat with some real small spots of rust coming through but just bubbles here and there and of course the paint scheme that some may like but not my style. I see that there may have been bondo work around lower parts of the car. This car sat since 1986 so if it were real bad rust it should have come through by now. Reason I say this has had bodywork I see evidence of prior body work on the doors and rear quarters so it may need lower quarters or patch panels once you get the paint off but that is an assumption based on what I see. Original color was dark green but I also see Orange so I think this is paintjob #3.Floorpans are pristine for this old of a car. I do see small rust through spots like on the drivers floorpan near toe board but nothing terrible. Trunk floor is almost perfect with a few small holes too but its really in great shape.I have a 1977 open title dated back to Massachussets but dated that it sold in 1986 when former owner signed it. It is an open title not in my name.Car is located in Clearwater Florida 727 if you would like to come see it 643 and look it over 2345.$500 Deposit by Paypal is required at auction close.Balance of payment is due before car leaves my posession.
