Recently, the Coupe received a new brake booster and bleeding of the brakes in August of this year, along with a set of new motor mounts installed on July 4th, 2020, with all fluids being changed in 2020; in addition, the XKEs clutch was replaced 3 years ago, and the 185/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires and inner tubes were replaced in recent months. The car also features coveted knock off hubs on its 15” Jaguar wire wheels. The leather is all original, supple and free of tears, and the carpet was replaced with period correct carpet in recent years. Inspiration from the D-Type is unmistakable, as the E-Type had a monocoque passenger compartment, a tube framed engine bay and a tilting hood.
