Truly one of the unique variants in the Corvair lineup this pillarless 4 door hardtop is a nice example of the often-overlooked version of 60's cool . Wanna haul the groceries, let's take the Corvair, wanna haul the dog and kids, let's take the Corvair. Wanna be just a little cool let's make sure dad gets the Monza version to bump us up to 110 horsepower. Now let's make sure it's in a 60's cool color- this one is and the name is even cool Artesian Turquoise . Sporting what looks to be quite a bit of original paint this is one nice, solid car. The paint has patina but nothing offensive- no major issues other than age spots save for the couple of quarter size bubbles that always develop below the windshield on these cars- nothing major, no harm no foul. Powered by its Monza variant this car goes down the road quite nicely with its Stallworth 2 speed power glide trans. Mechanically very good with great brakes, nice tires and seemingly well sorted, this one has a solid rattle-free ride that will bring a smile to your face. The telescoping steering column makes ingress and egress just a bit easier for those of us that are a little girthy shall we say. The fold-down rear seat is also 60's GM cool. Is it perfect- nope but were not sure where you can have this much fun and start this many conversations for so few collector dollars .
