Chevrolet Corvair. ok, here we have a 1961 Corvair Monza. The story on this is---Both my son in laws were out of work at the same time ,to keep them busy we got into this. They went back to work and it never got finished. My younger brother re did the top end of this motor does not burn oil. Runs great. The motor is originally out of a van. I purchased a parts car -- and we took the motor and trans out for this car. This car was an automatic, we put a 4 speed manual in it. Brake cylinders all rebuilt. All the major rust at the time was replaced or repaired. Basically the interior needs done, or at least that where we stopped. The car was painted the original color. Than the car sat under a carport for several years. the last 2 years in was outside under a tarp.All the chrome that was damaged or missing was replaced. glass is all good. Hubcaps are in the trunk. Brakes were all replaced with hardware and new pads.Some where here at the house i have all the receipts for the stuff that was purchased for this. All parts came out of the Corvair Ranch in Gettysburg or Clarks Corvair --Online. I have about $3800 into this car. The car has NO title. I decided awhile back not to do anymore with this, as I have other projects that I need to finish. And the sale of this would help out in that regard. The car runs drives and stops. The under side HAS NOT been sanded and painted.by the pictures you can see the clear coat starting come off and the paint is starting to bubble. I really don't think it would be a good idea to leave it outside any longer. This being sold as is --as a parts car.Thank you for lookingoh and i will deliver this free within a 30 mile radius of Waynesboro Pa. If you need it delivered farther ----this must be discussed prior to auction closing. If you get it with out discussion about being shipped than you are on your own.
