The owner passed away before the TD was finished and the family held onto the car and had the restoration completed. It was stored in their climate controlled garage with his other collector cars for the last 7 years. It starts and drives as new. I have driven many TD's over the years and this one is a delight to drive. The top and side curtains are virtually new and fit tightly!!!. All instruments and lights work properly as they should, including the turn signals, as the entire wiring harness was replaced when the body was removed for restoration. I am sure the investment in restoration far exceeds the asking price. The leather is also virtually new, as the car was never driven after completion, except for final sorting. The drivetrain is completly rebuilt as needed and the gearbox is excellent with syncho's on 2,3 and 4th gears as new. ALL of the brake drums and lines were purchased NEW and as the pictures show, they are fresh in every way- Chrome as well. !!! Options include: Luggage rack, Lucas driving lights, badge bar, correct green Rexine material on dash, new side curtains, Moss Valve cover (original with the car), Dual horns and dual fuel pumps.I have the TD in St. Louis in my garage and it can be seen anytime with an appointment. You are also welcome to hire an inspector to look and drive the MG. Thanks for looking. Engine #XPAG23649 Body #52117 |
