| If you want a great Elcamino make your offers now. Don't let this one get away. These ElCaminos are getting scarcer every year.. They will only go up in value. This is by no means perfect, but it is well worth my asking price. You are looking at a 1971Chevrolet El Camino. This is an older Frame-Off Restoration. It is a Numbers-Matching Vehicle. I bought this vehicle because I love these cars. I am not a car expert so I am mostly relying on what I have been told when I purchased it. It is a 396-Turbo engine bored to a factory 402 output 400hp, with a 400 turbo transmission, 12-bolt rear-end standard 3.73 ratio. Disc brakes in the front and drums in the back. TMU, True mileage unknown. The bed is rhino-lined and looks brand new. I was told this was going to be a SS Hertiage.The wipers are not hooked up, the horn does not work there is a stereo installed, there might be other small electrical issues, I have only driven the vehicle for maybe an hour. It needs the liner behind the seats. The A/C compresser is out of the vehicle but one can be installed if that's the way you want to go. They also sell plates if you want to cover it up. The paint is not perfect, there are a few paint spots that would need attention. I would rate the paint at around 8 out of 10, it has 8 coats of clearcoat applied. These is no rust or rot anywhere. Solid through-out. including frame. My mechanic told me that it is a good running machine, mechanically strong.This would be a great vehicle with just a little work. I just don't have the time or space to do it. You can add your personal touches, but you would do that with anything you buy, so it does not affect my price.I will consider all serious offers. If your not serious please move on. I also have a 4speed tramsmission complete setup and console that will go with this. This is just in case you want to turn it into a 4speed. The existing tramsmission works like it should. Again this is by no means a perfect vehicle and it is priced that way.This is listed As-Is no warranty implied or stated.
