Up for sale is my personal 1970 Blazer which has been well loved by my family. Built to look great and act right cruising down the road. I drive it often to run errands and head to my kids sporting events (I’d drive it to work everyday but covid has me working remote). Only selling because I have another project that needs time, funds and garage space (and my wife is tired of parking in the street because I have 2 classics in the way. When I purchased the Blazer, it didn’t run, drive, steer or stop as well as I wanted, so I spent the last 13 months refreshing the previous restoration until I was confident to drive my kids in it. The entire Blazer has been updated, replaced or improved over recent years. DRIVE LINEThe Previous Owner rebuilt the 350 engine (no documentation), it is also equipped with FITECH fuel injection throttle body. It starts every time cold or hot. The 350 turbo automatic transmission was also rebuilt by the previous owner and shifts well. The engine is cooled with 2 electric fans, tied into the efi computer and kick on and off depending on the water temp. STEERING \ SUSPENSIONI recently replaced the lower steering shaft with borgeson joints and a collapsible shaft. Also, rebuilt the steering column with new bearings and hardware. The nostalgia style wood steering wheel is brand new and the blinder indicators and horn works. I just replacedthe shocks with rancho 9000, which have 9 setting to adjust the ride quality. The steering stabilizer is also brand new. The front disc brakes have new calipers and pads (somewhere along the way an owner upgraded the 70’s front drums to disc using 72’ components). The rear drums have new drums and shoes and fully are rebuilt. The emergency brake works. The master cylinder and brake booster are new and upgraded using a 3\4 ton chevy’s (popular upgrade). INTERIORThe interior has nice new upholstery, with zero damage or wear. The dash pad is new. The center console looks stock, but has no damage and functions well. All gauges work in the instrument cluster(also the fitech handheld provides additional gauges). The wiring harness has been replaced somewhere along the way as well. The Blazer is equipped with a show bar \ roll bar, and the top is a double wall. The rear seat has 3 sets of seat belts, armrest look great and includes the ash trays. The rear cargo area comes with a one-off built cargo basket and an ammo can I use for jumper cables. The Blazer has a nice stereo with bluetooth, remote and phone mic, flip up screen (which doesnt go completely up due to the dash pad), with kick panel 6" speakers and 4 kicker - 6x9s in the rear. EXTERIORThe paint is only a few years only, and always kept under cover. It shines nice and I has a fresh buff and wax. There are three touch ups in the paint, aboutthe size of a penny (front fender, rear quart panel where meets the top). I havent found any rust on the body or lower panels or rockers, they all look solid. The Blazer has a new grill shell, new side molding, tailgate trim and rear bumper, the front bumper looks great too. The top is pretty good has a little damage here and there (see pictures), has been repainted, the lift gate works and functions property. Glass is all solid, appears original, little dirty, and the weather stripping looks good. The wheels are brand 0new 17” steelies and include old stock hubs (I repainted the black, but otherwise not restored). The tires are also new, 35” Nitto A\Ts. All lights work,blinkers, hazards, reverse, head lights, high beams. The front has LED halos for parking lights, which can change any color you like. All marker \ running and brakes lights are also upgraded to Leds (except the running lights in the grill). Title in hand. Will pass inspection. This is my personal blazer and I have worked tirelessly getting it complete and running right. I drive it often and enjoy it so bid in confidence but, obviously this is a used vehicle so there is no expressed or implied warrantee.
